Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operative – Construction (Barking)

About the role

This permanent, days‑based position combines forklift operation and warehouse duties with occasional van deliveries for a leading insulation contractor. You will work within a small, tight‑knit team supporting high‑profile construction projects across London.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, pick, and pack stock in the warehouse.
• Load and unload delivery vans and ensure goods are secured for transport.
• Drive a company van to construction sites, covering for holidays and peak periods.
• Organise and label inventory, maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet site delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Previous van‑driving experience, preferably within construction or logistics.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, days‑based hours.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a small team.
