Forklift Driver – Warehouse Operative

About the role

The Bread Factory is looking for a reliable Forklift Driver to join its warehouse team in Hendon, London. You will work Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am‑2:00 pm, ensuring that raw materials and finished products move efficiently through the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with health, safety and personal hygiene regulations.
• Receive goods, trace them and allocate to departments on a FEFO basis.
• Maintain stock control and ensure bakers have raw materials at all times.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly stock rotation and cleaning.
• Accurately transfer stock to production departments and check fridge temperatures every three hours.
• Monitor ingredient shortages and provide feedback to the Technical Department and Day Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Good written and spoken English.
• Punctuality and strong attention to detail.
• Basic management skills.
• Hold a Counterbalance and Flexi Forklift licence and a full UK driving licence.
• Possess a C/B & Flexi truck licence.
• Familiarity with MS Office and Epicor Tropos WMS.
• Ability to check delivery accuracy and carry out daily forklift inspections.
