Forward Deployed Engineer – AI-focused Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead AI‑focused projects for our global consulting clients. You will combine deep technical expertise with direct client interaction to turn AI ideas into production‑grade solutions across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to translate AI concepts into real business applications.
• Design, develop and deploy AI agents, large‑language‑model (LLM) applications and automated workflows.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing client systems and cloud platforms via APIs.
• Guide organisations in extracting maximum value from AI technologies.
• Create reusable tools and frameworks that can be scaled across multiple client engagements.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to deliver production‑grade, full‑stack applications.
• Comfortable engaging directly with senior stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, security and business processes.
