About the role
Randstad Care is seeking compassionate individuals in Swindon to become foster carers, providing safe, trauma‑informed support for vulnerable children. You can choose from full‑time, short‑term emergency or weekend respite placements that fit around your existing commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide dedicated, long‑term care for children with complex needs.
- Offer immediate, temporary safe housing during urgent situations.
- Deliver short‑break weekend respite care to support families.
Required profile
- Be aged 21 or older with full‑time UK residency (or indefinite leave to remain).
- Have a spare, permanent bedroom in your home.
- Prior experience in health, social care, education, youth work or a related field is highly desirable.

- Weekly allowance ranging from £491 to £1,055 to cover care costs.
- Fully funded specialist training in trauma‑informed care and clinical practices.
