Founding Head of Product

About the role

We are looking for a product leader to shape Heim’s AI‑driven platform that makes home the default place for patients to access care. This founding, executive‑level role will own the product roadmap and work closely with founders, the medical director and product engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Shape product direction, execution and standards to make Heim the go‑to AI platform for home‑based patient care.
• Define and implement Heim’s AI‑native product strategy, including safe agentic systems and AI‑native tooling.
• Drive clarity and accountability across the organisation to meet fast‑growing software demand.
• Act as the bridge between community nursing frontline realities and the software team, identifying major improvements.
• Raise the bar for the team and ensure quality and continuous improvement of the tech stack.

Required profile

• 6–8+ years of product or engineering leadership experience in startup or scale‑up environments.
• Proven track record of owning and shipping complex, high‑stakes products end‑to‑end.
• Strong technical depth, able to read and challenge codebases and be a trusted product partner for engineers.
• Native AI fluency with experience shipping agentic or conversational AI systems.
• Extreme ownership, low ego and first‑principles thinking.
