Founding Talent Lead – Build Recruiting Engine

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing AI‑native insurance‑claims platform, is looking for its first dedicated recruitment hire. As the Founding Talent Lead, you will partner directly with the founding team to design and launch a full‑stack recruiting function that fuels the company’s rapid expansion across engineering, sales, claims, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end hiring lifecycle: write compelling job briefs, design interview processes, coordinate hiring decisions, extend offers and close candidates.
• Proactively source passive talent through outbound outreach, referrals, and creative channel discovery.
• Build, evaluate, and continuously improve scalable recruitment systems, processes, and ATS workflows.
• Design and run internal employee‑referral programs to amplify the team’s network.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape onboarding, HR processes, and early performance‑management frameworks.

Required profile

• 2–7 years of full‑lifecycle recruiting experience, preferably in fast‑growing startup environments.
• Demonstrated ability to create recruitment workflows and sourcing strategies from scratch.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite five days a week in either London or New York.
