FP&A Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded FP&A Accountant to own the financial planning and analysis agenda for a fast‑growing international business. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Operations and Procurement to provide insight, challenge assumptions and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual budgeting process and drive ongoing financial planning.
• Prepare monthly revenue, margin and profit forecasts.
• Lead cross‑functional revenue review meetings with Sales, Operations and Procurement.
• Analyse P&L performance, investigate variances and challenge stakeholders where required.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor capital expenditure and support investment business cases.
• Produce high‑quality management reporting and ensure consistent, accurate financial information.
• Develop reporting packs and improve accessibility of financial insight.
• Support senior leadership with analysis, potentially contributing to Board‑level discussions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the confidence to challenge senior leaders.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach.
• Manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
