FP&A Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

We are looking for a motivated FP&A Analyst to join a growing business in Cheltenham. The role is hybrid and ideal for a newly qualified accountant or someone studying who wants to develop forecasting and budgeting expertise. You will work closely with stakeholders to turn complex data into clear financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models, forecasts and scenario analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and three‑year planning processes.
• Provide insightful analysis to highlight risks, opportunities and performance trends.
• Work with stakeholders to develop robust modelling assumptions.
• Track benefits from strategic initiatives and improvement programmes.
• Produce analysis for investor and funding requests.
• Review costs and identify efficiency and improvement opportunities.
• Support cash‑flow reporting and management.
• Assist with acquisition analysis and due diligence.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting and processes.

Required profile

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification (newly qualified or upwards).
• Background in FP&A, financial analysis, financial modelling or management accounting.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Proactive and commercially minded attitude.
