FP&A Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA accountant to join our finance team as an FP&A Analyst. The role combines retrospective performance analysis with forward‑looking forecasting, budgeting and strategic decision‑making in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and re‑forecasts in line with Group reporting requirements.
• Analyse business performance, identify key drivers and provide insights to improve financial and operational results.
• Partner with business leaders and operational teams to drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Produce and monitor financial and non‑financial KPI reporting for stakeholders across the organisation.
• Assist with month‑end and period‑end close, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Deliver insightful analysis to senior management and the Board on financial and operational performance.
• Utilise existing systems and reporting tools to enhance data analytics and management information.
• Develop and expand performance reporting frameworks to support informed decision‑making.
• Build strong relationships with finance and non‑finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Proven ability to interpret financial and operational data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience producing KPI reporting and performance analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
