FP&A Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious FP&A Analyst to join a leading UK organisation’s Finance team in London. The role focuses on turning data into actionable insights, developing reporting solutions and supporting strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance automated dashboards and financial reporting packs.
• Develop visualisations and KPIs that drive business performance.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.
• Assist with pricing models, tenders, contract renewals and commercial analysis.
• Improve reporting processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and key stakeholders.
• Deliver ad‑hoc financial analysis for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, or relevant analytical experience with a genuine interest in finance.
• Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, management reporting or a similar analytical finance role.
• Strong ability to work with large datasets and produce dashboards or reports.
• Proactive attitude with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (data modelling, PivotTables, complex formulas)
• Power BI or Tableau for visualisation
• SQL for data extraction
• Adaptive Planning or similar finance/reporting systems
