FP&A Analyst

About the role

HFG is partnering with a leading London insurer to find an FP&A Analyst who will own the production of the annual budget, periodic forecasts and management information for key functional areas.

Key responsibilities

• Own budgeting and forecasting processes and cycles for specific functions.
• Lead the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process for a portfolio of syndicates.
• Develop and deliver regular, value‑added management information to senior management to support effective decision‑making.
• Challenge business assumptions on budgets and forecasts to optimise financial performance.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards: IFRS, UK GAAP and overseas GAAP as required.
• Experience with insurance accounting principles, particularly those applicable to the Lloyd's market.
• Proven stakeholder management abilities.
