FP&A Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

This role leads the financial planning and analysis function for a mid-sized consumer business. You will support strategic decision-making, drive performance insights and mentor a small FP&A team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets and variance analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations for financial improvements.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal reporting policies.
• Monitor key performance indicators and deliver actionable insights to drive growth.
• Lead, mentor and develop a small FP&A team.
• Continuously review and improve financial processes and systems.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience in the retail or fast-paced consumer environment.
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Leadership experience to guide and develop team members.
