FP&A Senior Analyst – Hybrid (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded FP&A Senior Analyst to join our client’s multi‑site business in Chester. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will drive insight, performance and strategic decision‑making through budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the FP&A team to deliver high‑quality financial analysis and reporting.
• Build and maintain robust budgets and forecasts for leased & tenanted and managed operations.
• Produce clear variance analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting frameworks in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support strategic and operational projects as directed by the Head of FP&A.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems and financial controls.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven experience in a multi‑site environment.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including financial modelling.
• Financial modelling and analytical capability.
• Variance analysis.
