FP&A Senior Manager – Commercial Accounting & Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Senior Manager to join a fast‑growing post‑startup business lender based in the City of London. The business is backed by a global parent, already profitable, and is preparing to obtain banking and payments licences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full P&L, cash‑flow and balance‑sheet commercial analysis, budgeting and forecasting (approximately 50% of time).
• Drive finance‑related projects and system change initiatives, including UAT and test script development (approximately 50% of time).
• Prepare and present financial forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial data integration.

Required profile

• Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA.
• Relevant experience in a bank, challenger bank, fintech or any lending institution.
• Strong commercial accounting expertise covering full P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow.
