FRA Joiner – Fire Door Installation & Maintenance

About the role

Liberty Property Services is seeking a hands‑on FRA Joiner to join its Responsive Repairs team in Salford. The role focuses on fire‑door installation, maintenance and fire‑stopping across domestic and high‑rise social housing, ensuring compliance with fire‑safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire doors in occupied domestic properties, including high‑rise blocks.
• Carry out fire‑stopping works using Rockwool fire strips and related materials.
• Perform occasional day‑to‑day joinery tasks as part of FRA installations.
• Deliver work safely, efficiently and to scheme specifications.
• Report to the Passive Fire Protection Site Supervisor and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 in Joinery.
• Proven experience with FRA fire‑door and fire‑stopping projects.
• Approved PFP accreditation or training under BM TRADA or equivalent.
• Solid joinery background, preferably within a social‑housing environment.
• Ability to work independently on FRA tasks.
• UK‑valid driver’s licence; CSCS card not required.
