Fraud Customer Advisor

About the role

Join the First Party Fraud team at J.P. Morgan as a Fraud Customer Advisor. You will use your operational and investigative expertise to detect and prevent fraud, protecting customers and reducing losses for the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver omni‑channel customer service while screening onboarding applications for fraud risk.
• Monitor customer accounts and conduct periodic reviews to spot suspicious activity.
• Liaise with other banks and financial institutions to share intelligence and prevent fraud.
• Investigate payment activity, identify fraud and financial crime, and take mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with wider fraud operations teams to support colleagues and customers.
• Stay up‑to‑date with fraud and scam trends and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and manage case resolution timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of customer operations experience in a UK bank.
• Proven ability to lead complex investigations with an analytical mindset.
• Meticulous attention to detail and high quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of banking regulations with a focus on fraud.

• Flexible working hours: 35 hours per week over 4 days, with a blend of office and home work.
• Variety of shift patterns between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
