Freelance Event & Marketing Manager – Hospitality

About the role

This freelance position supports a vibrant restaurant and lounge in South London, driving revenue through a dynamic calendar of private and corporate events. The role blends lead generation, event coordination, and marketing to grow the venue’s event offering.

Key responsibilities

• Filter and assess incoming event enquiries to ensure suitability for the venue.
• Generate leads from corporate and private event providers to increase bookings.
• Market the venue as a destination for corporate retreats, away days, working lunches, private dining, celebrations, and more.
• Coordinate with event clients from initial enquiry through execution, delivering a seamless experience.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate and private event business.
• Support the business in developing recurring and new event revenue streams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in events management within a hospitality or venue setting.
• Confident in both business development and event coordination.
• Strong communicator able to manage relationships with corporate and private clients.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Familiarity with the South London or broader London events scene is a plus.
