Freelance Marketing Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Marketing Project Manager to support a fast‑moving commercial content team in London. The role will oversee high‑profile digital and print branded‑content campaigns for major clients, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of branded‑content projects across digital and print channels.
• Deliver native content campaigns and bespoke assets, aligned with media plans.
• Coordinate with editorial, creative, production and external partners.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects of varying scale and complexity.
• Maintain stakeholder and client relationships, providing regular status updates.
• Track project budgets, forecasts and P&L, ensuring financial accuracy.
• Analyse campaign performance using digital and social metrics.
• Support production processes, including photo and video shoots when required.

Required profile

• Proven project‑management experience in digital advertising, media, agency or publishing environments.
• Strong understanding of branded and native content delivery across digital and print.
• Ability to manage several projects in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and solutions‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with CMS platforms.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• Familiarity with project‑management tools.
• Knowledge of SEO principles (keywords, metadata, link equity).
• Use of analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
