Freelance Phlebotomist – Leeds & Yorkshire

About the role

Heim is recruiting freelance phlebotomists to work across Leeds and Yorkshire. You will join an existing team of practitioners, delivering high‑quality blood‑sampling care in patients’ homes and coordinating with the Clinical Operations Team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled blood tests during domiciliary visits as a lone practitioner, supported by telephone and a mobile app.
• Seek advice from senior colleagues or the Heim Clinical team for any issues beyond your expertise.
• Ensure collected blood samples are posted or delivered to the hub in time for courier collection.
• Document each test in the patient’s medical record and report any identified risks.
• Follow company protocols, guidelines, and health‑safety standards at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 hours per week between 7 am‑12 pm, with flexibility for additional shifts.
• At least 12 months full‑time phlebotomy experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Fluent English and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Willingness to use a digital mobile tool for job coordination and patient notes.
