About the role

We are a fast‑growing European tech company launching into the UK market. We need a UK‑based freelance PR professional to lead communications around a major funding announcement and the subsequent market launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted media strategy for the UK market.
• Draft and distribute press releases for the funding round and UK launch.
• Identify, pitch, and secure coverage in top‑tier tech and business publications (e.g., TechCrunch, national press).
• Advise on the UK media landscape and opportunities to reach key decision‑makers.
• Support op‑eds, interviews, and long‑term thought‑leadership profiling for the CEO and leadership team.

Required profile

• UK‑based with a strong network of media contacts in tech, B2B, and national business press.
• Proven track record of landing high‑impact stories in relevant outlets.
• Ability to provide strategic input and act as a trusted PR advisor.
• Available for an initial three‑month engagement with potential for extension.
