About the role
A well‑established residential developer is seeking an experienced Telehandler Driver for a busy new‑build housing development in Kendal. This long‑term freelance assignment provides consistent on‑site work, supporting trades and site management throughout the build programme.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a telehandler on a high‑traffic housing site
- Supply materials to trades across the development
- Assist with site deliveries and unload wagons
- Maintain safe working areas and material storage locations
- Carry out daily machine checks
- Support the site team with general duties as required
Required profile
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
- Previous experience on new‑build housing developments
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and available to start immediately
