Freight Forwarder – Liverpool – Hybrid – £31k

About the role

We are seeking two motivated Freight Forwarders to join a long‑standing FMCG trading business in Liverpool. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will coordinate deliveries across the UK, resolve operational challenges and ensure goods move efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor collections and deliveries throughout the UK.
• Manage shipments from start to finish, guaranteeing on‑time and complete deliveries.
• Track transport activity, identify and resolve any issues that arise.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records using internal business systems.
• Support continuous improvement by spotting process optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding or supply‑chain coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.

• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system
