Freight Operations Coordinator

About the role
Freightserve is seeking a Freight Operations Coordinator to manage fine‑art shipments from its Heathrow‑based office. You will be responsible for both export and import activities, ensuring timely, budget‑compliant, and high‑quality delivery of air cargo and courier parcels.
Key responsibilities
- Handle approximately 90% export and 10% import operations across air cargo and courier services.
- Prepare and submit export customs declarations, including free circulation, bond, and temporary admissions.
- Act as the first point of contact for partners, importers, and overseas agents for inbound shipments.
- Monitor orders using dedicated reports, tools, and a shared platform.
- Troubleshoot complex freight issues and remove roadblocks.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the Freight & Customs team.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Care and Warehouse teams.
Required profile
- Must work on‑site five days a week (no remote work).
- Demonstrated experience in air export operations.
- Availability to work Monday‑Friday during standard business hours.
