Freight Pricing Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a Freight Pricing Clerk to join a medium‑sized forwarder in Feltham. The role involves daily quoting, negotiating rates and building relationships with overseas network agents, airlines, hauliers and other suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate rates and contracts with airlines, shipping lines, hauliers and other suppliers.
• Prepare daily quotes, tenders and RFQs for air and ocean freight.
• Create tariffs and quote packs for UK and overseas customers.
• Maintain and update pricing data in CargoWise.
• Develop and nurture relationships with overseas network agents to generate new business.
• Liaise regularly with clients, agents and internal teams to support business development.
• Participate in team meetings, target reviews and regular supplier meetings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in freight pricing or a similar logistics role.
• Strong numeracy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an established team.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CargoWise pricing module.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent position (with a maternity‑cover fixed‑term option).
• Competitive salary £27,000‑£35,000 per year.
• Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑17:30 working hours.
