Freight Pricing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Freight Pricing Specialist to join a fast‑growing Heathrow freight forwarder. You will be responsible for producing accurate freight quotations and supporting commercial growth across import, export and cross‑trade shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely freight quotations for import, export and cross‑trade shipments.
• Source and negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines, airlines, hauliers and logistics partners.
• Analyse freight costs, margins and market trends to develop commercially viable pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support customer acquisition and retention.
• Respond to client and sales enquiries regarding transportation costs, transit times and service options.
• Prepare submissions, RFQs and pricing proposals for new business opportunities.
• Monitor pricing accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and customer agreements.
• Work closely with operations to align quotations with operational capabilities.
• Generate reports and analyse pricing performance, profitability and market competitiveness.
• Support strategic procurement initiatives and supplier relationship management.

Required profile

• Experience in air freight forwarding and freight quotation preparation.
• Commercially aware with a strong focus on profitability.
