French Speaking Programme Manager

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Programme Manager to lead a mission‑critical data programme in a fully francophone environment. The role is remote‑first in the UK, with travel to client sites in France, and starts in January 2027 on a 9‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end delivery plan for 40+ concurrent data product workstreams, acting as the single source of truth.
• Run the full governance cadence, from daily stand‑ups and sprint ceremonies to monthly Steering Committee sessions.
• Maintain the joint RAID log, manage change control and keep all project artefacts up to date.
• Oversee capacity and resource management across mobilisation, ramp‑up and ramp‑down phases.
• Manage the risk register and critical cross‑programme dependencies, especially across borders.
• Serve as the primary bilingual liaison for client leadership, producing documentation in French and English.
• Translate complex francophone business domains into actionable requirements for UK‑based delivery teams.
• Foster a cohesive remote team culture across France and the UK, handling time‑zone coordination.

Required profile

• Full professional fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
• Recognised programme‑management certification (MSP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent).
• Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe or equivalent) with experience running two‑week sprints.
• Eight or more years managing multi‑workstream technology programmes, at least three at true programme level.
• Proven delivery of large‑scale data platform or migration programmes (e.g., Databricks, Spark).
• Experience leading remote, cross‑border delivery squads across at least two countries.
