French Speaking Transport and Staff Controller

About the role

This position is based in Folkestone and focuses on coordinating staff and transport operations for a multinational service provider. The successful candidate will ensure smooth service delivery by managing staff rotas, responding to operational changes and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate staff to meet operational requirements and service delivery targets.
• Monitor staff availability, arrange cover and adjust staffing plans as needed.
• React quickly to disruptions, operational changes and emerging issues.
• Provide timely operational updates and maintain accurate records of events, changes and communications.
• Identify causes of service delays and support managers in delivering efficient service.
• Ensure all activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.

Required profile

• Fluent in French (minimum B2 level).
• Previous experience in railway or control‑centre environments is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Valid driver’s licence and passport.
• Willingness to work on a rotational shift pattern.
