French‑Speaking Investment Banking M&A Analyst/Associate (London)

About the role

This position is for a French‑speaking Analyst or Associate to join a fast‑growing Generalist M&A team in London. You will work on a broad range of mid‑market transactions, gaining direct exposure to senior stakeholders and complex deal structures from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of sell‑side, buy‑side and capital‑raising M&A mandates.
• Build and maintain detailed three‑statement financial models, including DCF, LBO and comparable valuations.
• Prepare high‑quality marketing materials such as information memoranda, management presentations and teasers.
• Conduct financial analysis, industry research and strategic assessments to underpin client advice.
• Assist in managing due‑diligence processes and data rooms.
• Coordinate with clients, investors, legal advisers and other stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Support senior team members in client interactions and project management.
• Contribute to idea generation, pitch material development and market analysis.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of experience in investment banking.
• Strong academic background with excellent attention to detail.
• Fluent in French with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and genuine interest in M&A and corporate finance.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent are advantageous.
