French‑Speaking M&A Analyst/Associate – Investment Banking (London)

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Analyst or Associate to join our fast‑growing Generalist M&A team in London. You will work on a high‑volume mid‑market franchise, supporting both sell‑side and buy‑side transactions as well as capital‑raising mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A transactions, including sell‑side, buy‑side and capital‑raising mandates.
• Build and maintain detailed three‑statement financial models, valuation models (DCF, LBO, comparables) and scenario analyses.
• Prepare marketing materials such as information memoranda, management presentations and teasers.
• Conduct financial analysis, industry research and strategic assessments to underpin client advice.
• Assist in managing due‑diligence processes, data rooms and coordinate with clients, investors, legal advisers and other stakeholders.
• Support senior team members in client interactions, project management and pitch preparation.
• Contribute to idea generation and origination efforts, including market analysis and pitch material development.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of investment banking experience.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in French.
• Commercial awareness and interest in M&A and corporate finance.
• Excellent academic background and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) are advantageous.
