Front Desk Receptionist – 5 Star Hotel

About the role

Join the Front of House team at the 5‑star Edwardian Manchester Hotel as a Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest check‑ins, check‑outs and cash payments in line with company standards.
• Respond to guest enquiries professionally, personalising service to exceed expectations.
• Complete daily administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Anticipate and fulfil guest needs, promoting hotel amenities and arranging in‑house services.
• Gather and update guest information in the client database to deliver a truly personalised experience.

Required profile

• Previous reception experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment.
• Proficiency with hotel IT systems such as Opera, Office 365, Salesforce and Review Pro.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
