Front of House Assistant / Receptionist

About the role
YMCA Swansea is seeking a Front of House Assistant / Receptionist to join its busy city‑centre community hub. Working 16 hours per week on a rotating schedule that includes evenings and weekends, you will be the first point of contact for up to 1,600 weekly visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome visitors, answer enquiries and direct them to appropriate services.
- Manage phone calls, emails and front‑desk bookings.
- Support the operation of the fitness centre and room‑hire facilities.
- Maintain a tidy, safe and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a front‑of‑house or receptionist role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
