Front of House / Hotel Receptionist Concierge

About the role

Join a busy central London hotel as a Front of House / Hotel Receptionist Concierge. You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome, handling enquiries and supporting daily hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, register arrivals, assign rooms and explain hotel facilities.
• Answer telephone calls, manage the switchboard and relay messages to relevant departments.
• Process reservations via phone, email and in‑person, ensuring accuracy in the Property Management System.
• Maintain accurate guest records, post charges, process payments and produce end‑of‑day reports.
• Promote hotel services, upsell where appropriate and support revenue optimisation.
• Follow health‑and‑safety, emergency and data‑protection procedures.

Required profile

• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work morning, evening and weekend shifts on a rotating schedule.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management System (PMS) software.
