Front Office Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Front Office Supervisor to lead the reception team at the Runnymede Hotel, a newly opened Warner Hotels property on the River Thames. Working a 32‑hour week, you will be the on‑shift operational leader, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless arrival, stay and departure.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the on‑shift leader, monitoring standards and efficiency across the Front Office.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints, VIP requests and special needs with professionalism.
• Coordinate with other department managers to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain visibility in public areas to support guest engagement and satisfaction.
• Reallocate resources during busy periods and lead the team by example.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire safety, hygiene and company policies.
• Manage emergency procedures, incident reporting and first‑aid response.
• Oversee cash handling, billing processes and upselling opportunities.
• Prepare shift handovers and detailed reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Front Office operations within the hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of guest experience principles and complaint resolution.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as iStay and Maestro, and GDPR/PCI compliance.
• Understanding of health & safety, fire safety and emergency protocols.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and coordinate guest‑facing teams during shifts.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management skills.
