Fuel Systems Control & Indication Engineering Internship (12.5 months)

About the role

From the moment you join, you will be an integral part of the Control & Indication department within the Fuel & Inerting Domain. The team designs the complete fuel gauging and control system for every commercial Airbus aircraft throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of fuel gauging and control systems across the Airbus fleet.
• Support research & technology projects and flight‑test campaigns.
• Develop expertise in computer‑based engineering, control‑system design, fuel‑gauging, mechatronics and electronics.
• Analyse the impact of Sustainable Aviation Fuel on future fuel‑control systems.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student for the full 12.5‑month placement, studying aerospace, aeronautical, computer, electronic, systems, mechanical, mechatronic or software engineering.
• Strong interest in aviation, curiosity to learn new skills and ability to work with integrity.
• Team player with good oral and written communication skills and an appreciation of future fuel technologies.
