Full Stack Developer – Algorithmic Trading Fund

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a leading algorithmic trading fund in London. You will build and enhance web‑based tools that support post‑trade, middle‑office, and real‑time trading operations. The role combines backend Python development with modern React front‑end work, delivering high‑impact solutions for both technical and non‑technical users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new web‑based tooling for real‑time financial and operational data.
• Architect enhancements to global systems using Python and React.
• Own projects end‑to‑end: gather requirements, plan, execute, and provide ongoing support.
• Maintain and improve existing internal and external processes and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Algo, Business Development, Middle Office, and Trading Tech teams.
• Provide guidance on diverse data sources and deliver streamlined solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of professional Python development.
• 3+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript experience, preferably with React.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
