Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to build the systems that power our insurance carrier and internal operations. Based in our London office, you will work closely with product, operations and leadership to design and ship software across underwriting, claims, finance, compliance and internal tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal and customer‑facing software systems.
• Design backend services, APIs and infrastructure.
• Work across the stack to ship new features and products quickly.
• Partner with non‑technical teams to automate manual workflows.
• Improve reliability, performance and scalability of existing systems.
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering standards.
• Help shape engineering culture as the team grows.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly.
• High ownership and bias toward execution.
• Curious, technical and motivated by difficult problems.
• Excited to work closely with operators and domain experts.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
