About the role
We are looking for a proactive and compassionate SEN Classroom Support Assistant to work across supportive schools in Camden. This full‑time position offers the chance to gain valuable experience supporting pupils with a range of additional learning, communication and behavioural needs.
Key responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning throughout the classroom.
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group intervention support.
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
- Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Speech & Language needs.
- Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
- Encourage engagement, participation and independence.
Required profile
- Experience in education, childcare or support work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Patient, resilient and positive approach.
- Ability to follow structured support plans.
- Passion for supporting children with SEN.
Required skills
What we offer
- Pay: £95 – £110 per day (PAYE).
- Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
- Fixed‑term contract of 1 year with potential extension.
