About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Full‑Time SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in inclusive primary and specialist schools across Camden. The role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on children’s learning, communication and behavioural development.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils with SEN.
- Assist teachers and SENCOs in delivering personalised learning plans and meeting EHCP targets.
- Support communication, emotional regulation and behaviour management.
- Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy and social skills.
- Collaborate with external professionals to promote independence and confidence.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
- Calm, patient and nurturing attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of ASD, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs is beneficial.
- Based locally in Camden or surrounding boroughs.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
What we offer
- £95 PAYE per day (salary range £90‑£110 per day).
- Fixed‑term 1‑year contract with potential extension.
- Full‑time hours 8:30 am‑4:00 pm in a supportive school environment.
