Full‑time Driver – British Army

About the role

Join the British Army as an entry‑level driver and become a vital part of the logistics team that moves personnel, equipment and supplies around the globe. You will receive comprehensive training on a wide range of vehicles and develop skills that are transferable to civilian life.

Key responsibilities

• Transport soldiers, ammunition, rations and equipment safely to designated locations.
• Operate vehicles in diverse environments, including desert, jungle, snow and mountainous terrain.
• Drive a variety of platforms, from quad bikes to heavy goods vehicles (HGVs).
• Perform cross‑country, convoy and night driving, as well as loading and unloading tasks.

Required profile

• Age between 16 years 6 months and 35 years 6 months.
• Pass a basic fitness test.
