Full‑Time KS2 Teaching Assistant – September Start

About the role
We are looking for a full‑time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming rural village primary school in Preston from 1 September. The post runs for the full academic year, offering stability for both the school and the successful candidate.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils in a Year 5/6 classroom, assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery.
- Help create engaging learning activities and reinforce key learning outcomes.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support as needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience working within KS2 is essential.
- Experience supporting Year 5 and/or Year 6 pupils is desirable.
- A positive, proactive and nurturing approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
