Full‑time Level 3 Early Years Nursery Nurse (SEN)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Nursery Nurse to join a specialist SEN‑focused nursery in Kings Heath, Birmingham. The role is full‑time and involves supporting children aged 2‑4 years in a play‑based, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, child‑centred care and learning activities for toddlers.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to provide personalised support.
• Observe and record children’s development, identifying emerging needs.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning space.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Valid Paediatric First Aid certification.
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Experience supporting children with emerging or diagnosed SEN.
• Good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
