About the role

We are partnering with a ‘Good’ rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to recruit a passionate Maths Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term placement starting September 2026. The role offers the chance to deliver engaging mathematics lessons and inspire students to reach their full potential in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Mathematics lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement in Key Stage 5.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor, assess and track student progress effectively.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
• Promote confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
• Passion for raising attainment and inspiring students.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
