About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Preston from September. This full‑time, long‑term position supports a Year 1 classroom, working closely with the class teacher to enhance pupils' learning and development.

Key responsibilities

Support teaching and learning within a Year 1 classroom.
Assist pupils with individual and group activities.
Collaborate with the class teacher to promote pupil progress.
Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.

Required profile

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
KS1 experience is preferred.
A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
