About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic Functional Skills Tutors to deliver high‑quality 1:1 tuition in Wirral. You will teach Functional Skills English and/or Maths, helping learners develop essential competencies, achieve recognised qualifications and reach positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personalised 1:1 tuition in Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
- Support learners in building confidence and meeting qualification targets.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs and learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
- Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Flexible, engaging teaching style.

- Flexible working hours (5‑15 hours per week).
- Competitive hourly rate of £25‑£30.
