Fund Controller – Private Credit (Hybrid, London)

About the role

The Fund Controller will join a fast‑growing private credit firm in Mayfair, supporting the launch of a new fund. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the CIO and investment team, the role combines fund control, investor reporting and transaction support in a hybrid London environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee fund administrators and outsourced advisors to ensure accurate reporting.
• Build and deliver robust fund reporting, budgeting and cash‑forecasting processes, including capital calls and distributions.
• Manage fund and advisor payments, invoices, expenses and financing activities.
• Support investment teams on new transactions, onboarding of investments and deal structuring.
• Provide input on operational and financial initiatives, including portfolio valuation assessments.

Required profile

• Qualified accounting qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in fund reporting or a similar role within alternative asset management.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic and global environment.
• Strategic mindset with critical‑thinking and decision‑making capability.
