Fundraising Manager – Lancashire & Greater Manchester

About the role

The British Heart Foundation is seeking a Fundraising Manager to lead income‑generating activities across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. You will build lasting partnerships with community groups, businesses and high‑value supporters to help fund life‑saving research.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire first‑time fundraisers and nurture long‑term supporters.
• Identify and develop high‑value fundraising opportunities into sustainable partnerships.
• Plan and execute strategic fundraising campaigns that drive income growth.
• Deliver exceptional supporter experiences and stewardship to retain donors.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and monitor progress against targets.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding income targets and KPIs.
• Experience managing high‑value opportunities through a pipeline to secure revenue.
• Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from community groups to corporate partners.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and multi‑project management skills.
• Commercially minded, self‑motivated and able to inspire others.
