Fundraising Manager (Major Gifts)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Fundraising Manager to lead our Major Gifts programme. You will connect philanthropists, trusts and foundations with opportunities that drive education and research forward.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with high‑value donors.
• Create compelling funding proposals that deliver measurable impact.
• Collaborate closely with senior university leaders and academic teams.
• Develop a robust pipeline of major supporters and oversee its growth.
• Shape the strategic direction of the Major Gifts portfolio.

Required profile

• Curious, relationship‑focused and outcome‑driven.
• Proven experience in major donor fundraising, trusts, foundations or corporate partnerships.
• Strong influencing, networking and partnership‑building abilities.
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and senior academics.
• Passionate about linking people with causes that matter.
