FX Options Trader – London

About the role

Citi is seeking an experienced FX Options Trader to join its London desk. You will manage FX option risk, price vanilla and exotic products, and work closely with sales, research and control functions to deliver revenue and maintain a disciplined risk profile.

Key responsibilities

• Trade a book of FX options, generating revenue while managing book risk.
• Coordinate with Sales, Research, CMand and other market teams to capture client demand.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to source and execute trades.
• Work with Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit and Finance to ensure robust governance and controls.
• Assess risk/reward of transactions, adhering to Citi’s Code of Conduct and supervision policies.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience in FX options trading or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of vanilla and exotic FX option products and client needs.
• Required licensing and registrations for the role.
• Advanced analytical and numerical competency.
• Clear written and verbal communication with effective interpersonal skills.
