Gardener / Driver – Edinburgh Green Spaces

About the role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our gardening team, maintaining green spaces across Edinburgh. The role combines garden care with driving duties, supporting residential areas, parks, schools and community facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Grass cutting, edging and strimming
- Maintenance of sports pitches and playing fields
- Seasonal grounds care, weed control and hedge trimming
- Landscaping and shrub‑bed upkeep
- Operating gardening machinery safely
- Driving to multiple sites (EH16 5UF & EH11 4HD) and interacting with the public
Required profile
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Excellent time‑keeping and ability to work independently
- Team‑player attitude with an eye for detail
- Basic health and safety awareness

What we offer
- Temporary ongoing contract (fixed‑term)
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.51
- Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (07:30‑15:15) with a 33‑minute break
- Opportunity to work outdoors across diverse community sites
