Gardener – Temporary Position in Edinburgh

About the role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking gardeners to join our team in Edinburgh on a temporary basis. The role involves maintaining green spaces across residential areas, parks, schools and community facilities, working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 15:15.
Key responsibilities
- Grass cutting, edging and strimming
- Maintenance of sports pitches and playing fields
- Seasonal grounds care, weed control and hedge trimming
- Landscaping and shrub‑bed upkeep
- Operating gardening machinery safely
- Interacting with members of the public
Required profile
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Excellent time‑keeping and ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and basic health‑and‑safety awareness
- Team‑player attitude

What we offer
- Hourly rate of £14.51
- Fixed‑term temporary contract
- Regular weekday shift with a 33‑minute break
